We had no alternative but to use Veomoves after our completion date changed at the last minute. They were significantly more expensive than other quotes we had received. Two items of furniture were badly damaged, and Alex sought to limit liability by reference to small print. He then failed to make good even on the compensation offered under his terms and stopped responding to emails. I was particularly shocked to see how aggressively one of the removals vans was driven - whilst full of our belongings, no less - so that the team could buy pizza.
